With the evolution of cultural policies, the time had come to provide the Morcenais region with a media library. The restoration project for this old school began in 1999-2000. The project was entrusted to the Tyrosse-based architectural firm Lafargue-Lapassade. Expanded with a rotunda dedicated to exhibitions and conferences, the old school would become the Morcenais region's media library, an institution supported by the Community of Communes. A lending library for books, records, and videos, it also includes an internet space where users could connect even before 2002, the year of its nauguration.
As a central media library, it coordinates with the three branches of the Morcenais region (Onesse-Laharie, Lesperon, Ygos-St-Saturnin), and four e-media hubs (Arengosse, Garrosse, Ousse-Suzan, and Sindères).
Numerous events, meetings, and exhibitions are held there throughout the year. Its high attendance attests to the necessity and success of this meeting and exchange space for citizens of all ages.
