The CAM, the Morcenx Friendly Club, was created in 1905 to unite Morcenx's sports activities. The next step was to provide it with the resources to fully practice all disciplines in stadiums and gymnasiums designed for this purpose.

This began in 1921. Mr. Paul Bonnat, an industrialist and executor of his mother Marie Luxcey's (Widow Bonnat) will, wished to donate a plot of land to the hospital-hospice, which would become the starting point for a future Sports Park. This initial donation was finalized in 1927: the land would be leased to the municipality or to sports clubs, with one-third of the rental income going to the hospital's fund. The first stadium in the municipality of Morcenx was, therefore, the property of the hospital-hospice.

During the Second World War, the stadium served as a stable for the occupying troops and required repairs. In 1946, Mr. Bonnat, then 75 years old, made a second donation to the Morcenx hospital-hospice, represented by Léon Brouste, mayor and president of the hospital's administrative board, through a notarial deed dated April 10, 1946. Furthermore, the donor expressed the wish that the stadium be named Luxcey-Bonnat in memory of his mother. From 1950 to 1970, work was undertaken to build barriers, renovate the showers, and install electrical wiring.

Now, nearly a century old, the Luxcey-Bonnat stadium continues to fulfill Paul Bonnat's wish: to bear his mother's name!
